Mana Ake

Mana Ake - Stronger for Tomorrow provides mental health and wellbeing support for children in Years 1-8 across Canterbury and Kaikōura. The service supports children both at school and at home, and offers advice, guidance, and workshops for parents, wh?nau, and teachers. Mana Ake kaimahi are employed by 13 Ngo providers and work alongside schools and families when children are experiencing challenges such as managing emotions, friendships, self-esteem, or coping with change. Kaimahi include social workers, counsellors, teachers, and youth workers, with access typically arranged through the child's school.
