The Ministry of Youth Development - Te Manatū Whakahiato Taiohi supports young people aged 12-24 to develop the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to participate confidently in their communities. It leads the Youth Plan, which focuses on improving wellbeing outcomes for all young people, with particular attention to priority groups who face higher risks to wellbeing.
